Unmanic Monday: Memory Lane Monday taking me back to ...

I am having a Memory Lane Monday that is taking me back to this moment in Guatemala.

It is bringing a sense of ease and grace, and … Unmanicism!

This is an image from a sacred ceremony at Lake Atitlan. We offered flowers to the spirit of the lake.

A feeling of appreciation, flow, and emotion came over me.

Offering flowers is a societal way to express compassion,  understanding, love, and thoughtfulness; a beautiful gesture when we sometimes don’t have the right words to express it.

Offering flowers to Spirit is much of the same, yet it feels much more expansive.

Elementally, flowers can be associated with fire energy sparking growth and passion. In some parts of the world, they are also known to be symbolic of space, the ether, as they blossom from seed and grow into space.

When we look at it from his perspective, offering flowers can be symbolic of such; growth and surrendering our whole existence in space.

It was a beautiful moment, and I am grateful for remembering this sacred time today.

When was the last time you took space and made an offering to yourself?

The importance of leaving our minds space, intending to our body and spirit, is vital. Yet we don’t do it enough.

Rituals and offerings will be among the many vehicles we will use at “Spirit-led in Sedona.”

While the Sedona retreat IS FULL, you can sign up for a waitlist and ask me about an upcoming St. Louis retreat or the next Sedona retreat in November. If it calls, check it out below!
