Do you breathe from your chest or diaphragm? I don’t think there is right or wrong, just a difference in a goal!
Diaphragm breathing draws air passing the bottom of the lungs, allowing air to make full contact with the lower part of the lungs. This activates the connection with Spirit and it is oh-so delightful!
When we breathe into the chest we can focus on heart or high heart expansion, work on freeing the joints of the ribs, and bring focus to our upper back and neck.
While humans in general are "belly breathers,” and some say it’s “right” to breathe in through the nose into the belly, each has benefits.
