Mercury is officially retrograding, the New Moon in Leo has blessed us, and the energy is HIGH!
And yet, amidst all of this light fiery energy, I am seeing a collective fog of fatigue. It's more than just a physical sensation; fatigue carries profound messages and invites us to pause, reflect, and today, can support us to UnManic our Mondays!
Fatigue is often our body’s way of signaling that it’s time to slow down and recalibrate. It serves as a gentle reminder to tune inward and listen to our cells.
Think of it like writer's block, which typically tells us to take a step back and not write. Fatigue can signify a need to step back, rest, and realign with our true selves.
Fatigue can also be a sign of transformation, which I love for the passionate Leo season that is here!
I have noticed that before significant growth or shift, our bodies and minds often require a period of rest to prepare for what’s to come. This is particularly true for those of us who are deeply engaged in practices demanding a high level of energy and focus.
As I prepare for our upcoming Mystic Enchantment Retreat in Bali, I’ve noticed my body slipping into this state. This is a pattern I’ve come to recognize over the years. In the days leading up to leading retreat, my energy dips a tad, and I feel a deep need to rest.
This pre-retreat fatigue is my body’s way of preparing for the profound experiences and transformations the retreat will bring (and they always bring big changes)! It’s a signal to conserve energy, to gather strength, and to be fully present when the time comes.
So today, the invitation is to Unmanic your Mondays, by addressing any dips you may feel, and embrace R.E.S.T.
R = Recognize: Instead of pushing through, honor your body’s need for rest. Recognize fatigue is a natural part of your journey, telling you to take a step back, and be.
E = Evaluate: Use this time to reflect on where you’ve been expending your energy. Are there areas in your life that need realignment or balance?
S = Stop: Allow yourself the space to literally stop and rest. This could mean taking a short break, practicing gentle self-care, or simply doing nothing for a bit!
T = Tune-In: Listen to your inner guidance. What is your fatigue telling you? What do you need to release or embrace in this moment? Go deeper into your body, and see what else it may be sharing!
By embracing R.E.S.T. as a spiritual practice, we can navigate our lives with more ease and grace.
