Have you ever felt an undeniable connection with someone - whether a friend, family member, or even a client - and it felt as if you’ve known them for lifetimes?
It’s one of those profound, “I know you” moments that goes beyond the surface. It’s more than a coincidence. It’s a karmic connection - a bond spanning across lifetimes.
Lately, I’ve been witnessing a lot of past life connections in my work, and it’s been both humbling and healing.
In doing healing work, I’ve had the privilege of sitting in sacred space with clients and friends, and at times, I can see glimpses of their past lives, and how we connect. It’s inspiring to learn as the memories surface - so clearly, so profoundly - that they begin to unravel the fears, pains, and emotional triggers we carry with us in this lifetime.
And let me tell you - it can be intense. I can physically feel it in my body at times.
Imagine sitting with someone, feeling the weight of their soul’s journey, and suddenly understanding the source of their deepest fears. Maybe it’s the trauma of dismemberment, a premature death, or the sting of betrayal that still lingers in their energy field. It can be heavy.
Sometimes, I sit in awe, unsure how to explain what I’m seeing. It’s like holding a mirror to their soul’s history, and yet, that history isn’t meant to bind us. It’s meant to heal us.
We reembody - same souls, often traveling together through lifetimes, helping each other heal, learn, and evolve. And here’s the key….
We’re not meant to get stuck in those past-life stories. We’re here to transcend them.
The Divine intricately weaves our karmic connections, bringing them back around for the sake of growth. Yes, we need to face the past, but we cannot let it control us. It’s not about staying in those old wounds, reliving the pain. It’s about using them to fuel healing and transformation, activating forward momentum, and evolving in this lifetime.
Here is some inspiration on how to use your past life to activate forward movement:
Reflect on Your Fears and Triggers: Take a moment to think about the fears or emotional triggers that are surfacing in your life. Could they be connected to past-life experiences? Journaling may help uncover deeper patterns.
Sit in Meditation: In a quiet, sacred space, ask to be shown any karmic connections that are ready to heal. Let the images or sensations arise naturally without judgment.
Honor the Lessons: Acknowledge your past-life connections with love and gratitude. But instead of recreating them, focus on healing. Use the wisdom and lessons from those past lives to fuel your spiritual growth in the present.
This week, let’s reflect on how our karmic connections can serve as a bridge to the future. Instead of getting stuck in the pain of the past, let’s use it to propel ourselves forward, embracing the transformation that comes with it. These connections are not here to trap us in old stories; they’re here to help us evolve, heal, and grow into the highest version of ourselves.
Sending love and light as we navigate this journey of healing,
Alara
