Unmanic Monday: Create your own mini retreat and sacred space at home!

In case you didn’t hear last week, I am full of delight to announce my next Sedona retreat November 7th to the 11th (that is 11/11)!

Until that time, I invite you this week, to Unmanic your Monday by mapping out and creating a mini spiritual retreat at home! It is a wonderful way to create sacred space and nourish your soul. 

Here is the recipe to cook it up — choose to do what you wish! 

1. Choose your day and set your intention. Determine what you hope to gain, whether it's relaxation, self-reflection, or spiritual connection. Write it down in a journal.

2. Create a peaceful environment. Set aside a dedicated space in your home where you can retreat. Clear the area of clutter, decorate it with meaningful objects or symbols, and ensure it feels serene and inviting.

** As you prepare your space, also make sure you plan to nourish your body, by preparing healthy, nourishing meals that support your well-being. Plan to eat clean the day of! Consider incorporating a gentle detox or cleansing practice if it aligns with your intentions.

3. When the day arrives, disconnect from distractions by silencing your phone, turning off notifications, and minimizing external distractions. This will allow you to be fully present.

4. The day of, I highly recommend fasting for a bit in the morning.

5. Take the morning to engage in mindfulness by incorporating practices like meditation, deep breathing, or yoga. These activities can help you center yourself, cultivate inner peace, and connect with your inner self.

6. Embrace silence and solitude in a rich way. Reading spiritual texts, journaling, or engaging in creative expression.

7. Break your fast with Cacao. I highly recommend Keith’s cacao and can certainly help you map this part (and all of it) out!

8. Connect with nature and spend time outdoors if possible. Take a walk in nature, sit in a garden, or simply bask in the beauty of natural surroundings. Nature has a way of grounding and reconnecting us to our spiritual essence.

9. When you eat, make sure to have clean high vibing food, and savor each bite mindfully. 

10. Engage in deeper self-care practices like taking a bath, practicing aromatherapy, doing a home spa treatment, or simply enjoying a moment of relaxation.

The key is to create an intentional and sacred space where you can focus on nurturing your spirit. 

Customize your mini-retreat based on your preferences and needs, and be open to the insights and transformations that can arise from this dedicated time for yourself!

UnManic Monday: Embrace the Power of Action on a First Quarter Moon

I hope this finds you well and filled with enthusiasm for the week ahead! As the first quarter moon is upon us today (June 26th), I want to share with you the significance of this celestial event and how it encourages us to take action.

This will kickstart your Monday with a spark! 

The first quarter moon represents a crucial turning point in the lunar cycle. It symbolizes the transition from intention (which we set on a New Moon) to action, urging us to manifest our dreams and aspirations into reality. 

Just as the moon grows brighter each night, so too should our determination and progress.

This phase invites us to evaluate the intentions we set during the new moon and assess our progress thus far. It is a time to reflect on our goals and identify any necessary adjustments or course corrections. The first quarter moon acts as a catalyst, motivating us to step out of our comfort zones and actively pursue what we desire.

Today, I encourage you to embrace the power of action. Take a leap of faith, embark on new ventures, or make bold decisions that align with your vision. Break down larger tasks into smaller, manageable steps and tackle them with unwavering resolve. Remember, progress is often made one step at a time.

As the moon waxes toward its fullness, let us harness its energy to propel ourselves forward. Embrace this vibrant lunar phase and let it serve as a reminder of your own potential and capacity for growth. Trust your instincts, believe in yourself, and trust that the universe supports you on your journey! 

May this first quarter moon inspire you to take decisive action and move confidently towards your dreams.
